What a Gross night

Well That was fun. Started out as a easy night. Stacie was still at work so I got the boys dinner and after Ari was feed, put the boys in the bath. We when Stacie got home I we into the living room were I could check my email. Well as Stacie and I were talking the boys were playing. The problem is we left them too long and Isaac relived himself in the tub.

This is gross but not a big deal, it’s happened before. Anyway to spare you the details the tub would not drain. I tried the plunger but to no avail. So I run to Lowe’s to get a drain snake, but I still couldn't get the tub to drain. Stacie is getting frustrated and so am I. The Boys need to be washed again before they can get jammies on and go to bed and I can’t get the tub to drain so I can clean it. So I start to pull the drain pulled apart. This is not a clean nor fun job. But I did get it apart down to the metal pipe, this is where the clog was. Yuck, double yuck. the pipe was packed at that junction. I got it cleared and all back together, but Stacie had already taken the boys to mom and dads to bathe them.

The funny part is the clog probably would have happened tonight anyway, despite the situation that started all of this. I’m not sure what I need to do to stop this from happening again, I will have to ask around, but on the bright side, I have a drain snake now. Any new tools is cause for celebration.

Did I mention that my shoulder is hurting again, and man will I fell it in an hour or so.

Well I’m going to go try and sleep.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, I know I’m little late but I guess school, family and some tiems work will keep you busy.
We went to Aunt Ali’s this year. This is a good thing. Ali did the whole dinner, and it was delicious. Thank you Ali for all the work. Her dinners are always great.
Grandma Jean has us put what were grateful for on a sheet of paper, the box is sealed and opened the following year. We then read the papers out load.
Some are silly and some are very touching. It’s nice to hear the different things we are grateful for. There are things that are constant year after year. These normally deal with family and living in a free country to live and worship, as we will.
Dinner was really dinner so we had the day to ourselves, which really means that Aidan was jumping off the coach on to my back or belly. Isaac was sleeping and Ari was being fussy. A much better day than how I spend Friday.
Friday was the day to redesign the mars rover project. It was climbing on Tuesday but Wednesday when it was in front of our teacher it wouldn’t do it. I think the dimmer switch we were using to slow the drill down was slowing the energy flow down too much.
Well anyway, Frances gave us two weeks to redesign the rover and to make use that it runs independently. I guess I take comfort in that there was only one team’s rover that could climb the stairs. Anyway, Friday was the day to start the rebuild. We are changing the gears and the power.
We got a lot done, even after the disagreement about who could use the “I need to spend time with my family” excuse to not put in a full days work. I have given up a lot of time from my family for this project, but I guess because I’m the team leader that’s ok and the other can spend time with theirs. I’m still a little ticked about that.
Back to my kids. Aidan is developing a personality that is prickly and can be stubborn, but he is quite smart, we should be pushing him more.
Isaac is really my little buddy. I come home and he is the one that runs to say hi and give me a hug. He is learning faster and faster. He is the tough one.
What can I say about Ari. I don’t remember the boys being this alert this fast. She smiles and laughs and will watch intently. I am amazed. I guess that she will be Daddy’s little girl.
O well a lot to say and no real context to do it in so I will sign off now.

Sorry been busy

Well I haven’t blogged in a while; it must be near the end of the semester.
Ari is doing great; we blessed her a few weeks ago. It was on my birthday, I though that was a pretty cool thing. I have some pictures; I will get them posted soon.
Aidan is getting smarter and smarter. Most of his sentences now are complete, and he sounds more and more grown up. Isaac is amazing with what he can ay now. Yesterday I was putting him in the car and he looked up at me and said “hey bubby”. Very funny.
Been spending a lot of time with my school project. It is a mars rover, or stair climber.
We had to build a vehicle that will climb the stairs at school. We have had power and torque issue and we are still having track issues, but we will be ready on Wednesday. Ours may not be the prettiest but at least it was the cheapest.
I’d like to think when the semester is done I will have some time. Not so, I have cars to fix and the next semester to get ready for. O well
I think I get to go to sleep now,
