We have a cold in our nose

A few more pictures of Aurora. She is a small one, but so cuddly. It's been a tough week. We all have had a cold and it has set Aidans’ asthma off. He’s not been a happy camper, Isaac is just dealing with it, but his nose has not stopped running all week. Ari just doesn’t know what to do with a stuffy nose. Not fun. Stacie and I have been to the doc more in the last week than we had been in some time.
O well we keep going because that’s what we have to do.

Congratulations Rog and Coz.

Coz had their little boy on Thursday. He was 7lbs, 10 oz and 21 in long. Haven’t heard what they are going to name him yet.
Rog put some pictures on his blog. Check them out.

Mckenzies Play

We got to see McKenzie in her play last Saturday. She did a really good job. She was in the music man, and had quite a few lines. She is such a natural on the stage. We got a few pictures of her after the show, but she was really busy with their friends. I will add the pictures later. Good Job McKenzie, we love you and are proud of you.
P.S. Here are some pictures

Cars

Well the week goes by. I got the car pulled apart this week and found as I called around that there is not a timing chain cover for my car here in Utah. One yard said that there was one in Idaho. O ya.
I had to work most of the week too. Doesn’t help with the time factor needed to find the parts and get them installed, but I finally got to Summers after class on Friday, and after wondering around for a while with the junkyard guy, I found the only timing chain cover for 91 Buick century in Utah. Now with the new timing chain I got I can start putting the car back together. I will get some of that done after work tonight. Of course I have to sturdy for two tests as well.
I figured that if I die at 85 I will be able to finish all my project by the time I turn 90. I’m so excited.
The bronco is ready to get inspected, I think. But the back window will not role down, and the latch doesn’t work. I have a feeling I will be pulling it off to work on it. I fixed the brights, wired a new switch. I will have to wire a switch up front to role the back window down. I love old cars. I will have to replace the floorboards as well. THis stuff can be done after teh inspection. Not really turning out to be the car need, but man does it sound good when I start it up, and of time course it starts up every time.
I guess it just good that I can do this kind of work, because I would hate to pay someone to do it for me.
O well

School has started so the car broke down

Sorry I haven’t blogged is a while. Everything just kind of happened at one. Ari was born, then school started, and I was running around trying to get in the school mode. Then to top it off the car broke down.
We’ve been doing OK since Ari was born. Her two-week appointment was Tuesday. She is 6 Lbs 11 Oz now. So like her bothers she is gaining weight, and will probably continue to do so.
Aidan and I did get to go fishing for one last time. We went up to Strawberry and meet up with Mom and Dad. Roger and Cozette were there with their girls. Darin came up with Zack and Makayla. It was fun. The boat wasn’t working. But we still went out. Rog and I used our float tubes. Still can’t catch a fish to save my life. O well.
The car had started to make some noise on the trip to Strawberry. Didn’t think much about it because it just sounded like a heat shield was loose, the when I changed the oil I couldn’t find anything loose. We when to Brian’s to use his long screwdriver to see if we could pin the noise down, and o boy did it sound like the sound was coming from the water pump. No big deal, I wanted to change that anyway. So on Labor Day I started to pull it apart. Well after finding that the water pump is mounted on the front of the timing chain cover, and that they hid a bolt underneath the pump. The pump didn’t seam so bad; No loose or missing blades.
Well to make a long story short, I had cracked the timing chain cover so while starting to take everything off to get to that, I find the balancer on the crack shaft is broken, Hey I found the noise. I just can’t get it off yet. I had to go to work on Monday and it has been raining pretty bad the last few days. Thank you Thank you Dad for lending me your car, so we can still function.
Hopeful tomorrow I can get some work done on the car. I have to get it running again soon. Then I can concentrate on my Bronco again. That’s what I really can’t wait to drive.
O well
